October Update

Shapes & Colors has been steady this year with existing client work and new business coming in. We had a staff change mid-year (more on that later) but otherwise have been fairly consistent with our workload since January.

We have enjoyed the branding, website and graphic design projects coming our way and wanted to share a few updates on our client roster and portfolio work.

Staff Update

Shapes & Colors had a staff change mid-year when Maria Stone, our Account Coordinator, departed for a full-time position. Having been a creative entrepreneur herself, Maria brought an eye for detail, organization and process development that has left us in a better position than when she started.

We miss having Maria around but wish her nothing but success in her new role.

Good luck Maria! We’ll miss you!

If you’d like to keep up with Maria’s creative work (beautifully illustrated pottery) – you can find her at Maria Stone Studio on Instagram.

Kaleidoscope has been a MAJOR success.

I launched an in-person networking group at my co-working space, Gather Arts downtown. The focus has been on on intentional networking and masterminding with other business owners.

In our first six months, members have collaborated on new business and supported each other through the following business challenges:
• hiring, training and firing employees
• what business systems are right for our needs
• how to niche down
• refining our elevator pitch
• navigating core audience pivots
• cleaning up our messaging
• upgrading our sales processes
• working with challenging clients
• working with challenging partners

Are you an entrepreneur looking for intentional networking and accountability with likeminded business owners? Consider applying for a seat at our table. We are 8 members strong.

We have one more free visitor day coming up before year-end. Register on the website, linked below.
